Rugby has firm foothold on The Rock
This is the home of Gibraltar's Super IVs. Gibraltar's first ever internal league to based on The Rock itself.
Players have been pooled from all parts of Gibraltar and drafted into teams. The Sharks had first pick in the draft.
The Rock Scorpions
The Rock Scorpions is the team that play in black but are aspiring to have the depth in quality more famous teams that play in black possess. The first victory in the Super IVs by the Scorpions, ould indicate they ar eon their way.

Buccaneers WINNERS OF SUPER IVs GRAND FINAL!
The Buccaneers are this years 2011 Grand Final Winners narrowly defeating the Stormers by 5 points in a to and fro contest that could have seen either side win it.
Will the new Stormers kit take the league by storm?
This is the Europa Stormers kit which will also be on display for the first time on March 31st. Everyone will be glad to know these are not tight fitting. Some more than others.
The Europa Stormers name was decided on to symbolise the significane of Gibraltar's Geographical location as well as the stormy weather up at Europa.

Super IVs Launch Party this Tuesday 29th (6pm)

The registration process has been a fantastic success bar the one or two who are still not in the 21st century and still owe Moses a £5, aka Lyons.All players are invited to the launch party on Tuesday 29th, from 6pm onwards. The event will be hosted at the Lord Nelson, home of Gibraltar rugby.
The captains/managers and Super IVs committee, will be meeting, Monday at the GRFU's posh new office (Lathbury Barracks) to thrash out the teams and ensure that all teams have an equal chance of winning.
The teams will then be announced on Tuesday night and members of the media will be there to photograph the teams and their new kits (team photo so please be sure to be there).
We will then go through the upcoming events and have a couple of team building exercises. Nothing too heavy booze wise as we know it's a school night.
The first game will be played Thursday 7:30 at the DTC. Please make sure you bring id along and for those of you who haven't played there before please be aware that no mettle studs are allowed but that there is a bar.
We are all looking forward to the tournament and it truly promises to be a success.
Big thank you to everyone who bothered to register. It makes the lives of those putting the Super IVs together a heck of a lot easier.

Super IVs to Start 31st March

Team building exercises will take place and team photos with kits will be taken.
